Padded Electric Side Rails
The Novacorr Huntington’s Bed features electrically operated padded side rails that combine maximum protection with flexibility. Designed to reduce the risk of injury from involuntary movements, the soft, impact-absorbing surrounds provide a secure and calming environment.
Depending on the stage of the user’s condition, you can choose between low-profile early-stage rails for gentle support or full-height late-stage rails for complete safety and containment. The electric adjustment makes it easy for carers to raise or lower the sides as needed, offering safe, dignified, and adaptable care.
Anti-Entrapment & Anti-Injury Design
Purpose-built for individuals with complex behavioural and neurological conditions, this bed features anti-entrapment zones and reinforced safety elements to prevent limbs from becoming trapped.
Its thoughtful design is ideal for those living with Huntington’s Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Acquired Brain Injury, Rett Syndrome, or epilepsy — helping to create a safer and more predictable care environment for users and carers alike.
Three-Layer Pressure Prevention Mattress
Each bed includes a premium three-layer pressure care mattress designed to reduce the risk of pressure injuries and provide maximum comfort for users with limited mobility.
For clients with more advanced pressure care needs, the bed can also be customised to include a modified mattress surround that accommodates an alternating air mattress. This allows for tailored clinical support while maintaining the protective features of the Novaprotect design.
