Whatever your needs, Novacorr Healthcare can create a bed to suit you; a person’s weight, height or size is not an issue. We build our wireless remote-control electric adjustable beds from small single to king and everything in between. The length of the bed can be made to an individual’s height to assist with getting out of bed. The Adjustable Electric Health bed can also be used purely as a luxury bed to make reading and watching TV more comfortable. The back raise (the head end of the adjustable electric bed) can be elevated from a flat position to 90 degrees (upright). This feature is useful if you suffer from any of the following conditions: back pain, hip/knee problems, breathing difficulties (including sleep apnoea, asthma, emphysema) GORD or arthritis. It provides support in a sitting position to make it easier for you to get out of bed. The leg raise (the foot end of the electric bed) can be lifted to not only bend at the knee but can keep the whole leg elevated to support and improve circulation. This feature is useful if you suffer from swollen legs/ankles as it allows your legs to be higher than your heart. Using the leg raise feature can also help with hip/knee pain and alleviate back discomfort. Novacorr Healthcare uses state-of-the-art Linak motors in our extensive range of beds, which are wireless remote control-operated. A simple touch of your control can deliver a restful night’s sleep, with no cumbersome wiring hanging from your bed. One of the greatest features of our beds is the ability to pre-set up to three preferred positions. By simply pressing the ‘set’ button on your bed, you can store your three preferred sleeping positions in the bed’s computer memory. Likewise, if your Carer, Doctor or Occupational Therapist has advised you on the best position for your comfort, then that predetermined elevation can be stored for future use. Many of our clients find the ‘pre-set’ option handy when they’re ready to leave their bed.
