For clients with more advanced pressure care needs, the bed can also be customised to include a modified mattress surround that accommodates an alternating air mattress. This allows for tailored clinical support while maintaining the protective features of the Novaprotect design.

It is used in care settings for people living with Huntington’s Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Acquired Brain Injury and Rett Syndrome. Suitability and configuration should be assessed for the individual.
The bed has electrically operated padded side rails that move through 340mm and can be operated independently on the left and right. Early-stage rails are 150mm wide and square set for easy transfers. Late-stage rails are 200mm wide and rounded for increased protection. A mixed setup gives one early-stage and one late-stage rail.
Slim (760mm), Single (910mm), King Single (1070mm) and Double (1350mm), with custom widths available. Internal length is 2000mm as standard, with custom lengths available.
